Raymond RedmoreChairman and Managing Director
Ray came into security following many years in the building industry plus 12 years in running his own companies. In the early 90's Ray decided to change direction in business following reports of considerable crime in Avonmouth. He decided to stop this crime trend as no one else appeared to be capable of doing so. As a result in 1993 Security 2000 Ltd was born. Crime stopped immediately when he started the first guard patrol in the Burcott Road Estate in Avonmouth.
Ray has seen the company grow from strength to strength since its conception. He is responsible for the overall running of the company and uses his well-honed leadership and management skills to focus on, and maintain, the exacting standards that Security 2000 Ltd’s clients have become accustomed to.
Ray is very proud to have received many accolades including a glowing commendation from the panel of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Ray is also very proud that Security 2000 Ltd has won the Approved Contractor Status with the Security Industry Authority (SIA). His intention is to increase the velocity with which Security 2000 Ltd brings secure environments to industrial estates and individual clients alike.
